--I haven't posted in a while. I have been seriously busy. In addition to looking for a job, my brother came to visit this weekend with his daughter and new girlfriend. She seems like a really nice girl and he seems really happy with her. Hope this works out for him. I just want him to be happy!
--In other news, I have seriously got to start eating better. Those evil Girl Scouts!! I bet I have had like 2 boxes of those cookies in the past week. Plus I have been drinking alot of soda. Can you say bad for me! I am going to try to do better this month. Wish me luck.
--Additionally, I sent my husband to Walmart and asked him to buy my regular moisturizer. I even gave him a coupon I had cut out of the paper. He came home with advanced wrinkle cream!! Seriously, I am only 32. Do I really need that?? Once I mentioned it to him, he said he got that one because it was on the picture on the coupon and that he didn't even notice the advanced wrinkle cream. Guess I will believe him for now.
--Teething continues which mean less sleep than normal. Great! This is only the second tooth! Hopefully, things improve as each tooth comes in? Maybe, hopefully??

6 months old!!
Today our little man is 6 months old! I can't believe it! It seems like yesterday he was just born. People aren't kidding when they say it goes by fast--it really does!
So what's new this month??
-Will is now 28.5 inches long and weighs ~18lbs
-he is talking up a storm!
-we started baby sign language! it is exciting to know in a few months he can tell us what's wrong
before he can say the words!
-he loves all noise making toys
-he has one tooth and more coming!
-teething has disrupted his sleeping but we are working on getting back on track-last night was 10
hours.
-we started solid foods! So far he is a veggie boy. Really likes sweet potato, green peas, squash, green
beans, and carrots! He didn't care for avocado or peaches!
-all 9 and 12 month clothes--the 6 month ones are just too short
-he is obsessed with rolling. He could roll by 4 months but didn't do it often, now its all the time!
-here are some 6 month photos!
Hopefully, the next 6 months will be as amazing as the first!

Catch up
So it's been a while. I didn't take a computer with me while we were traveling for Christmas and blogging from my phone app is hard for me. Anyway, a lot happened in the time I've been away. Here's a recap of some of it.
- I turned 32. My birthday was great! Bill got me an amazing new camera for my birthday! Turning 32 wasn't really a big deal to me. Getting older has never bothered me. I will say I felt older than ever before on my birthday. That may have been due to the arrival of our little man.
- Will turned 5 months old!! He is getting so big!! And I thoroughly enjoyed watching him during his first Christmas. Especially getting to me all of our extended families. I can't wait until next year when he understands what is going on!
Then, of course, he just tried to eat some of new toys. He seems quite fond of his fish bowl and its components, especially crinkly crab.
- Then, we headed to my dad's for a few days for Christmas with my side of my family. Then, we made the 7 hour journey from my dad's to Bill's family and another Christmas.
- My grandmother turned 90! Our family gave her a surprise party and it was wonderful. It was great to see my whole family together again. It has been awhile since we were all together.
- When we got home, someone was really happy to see his jumper.
- And rolling finally returned!! Anytime I put him down he starts rolling from his back to his tummy. Still not going from tummy to back, but I guess we will get there when he's ready.
- Here is a final picture of my two favorite guys!!

The living Christmas tree
Yesterday we went to see the living Christmas tree at The First Baptist Church of Huntsville. I was concerned he wouldn't like it but he seemed too. He was amazed by the lights and kept trying to dance to the music. It was so cute! He didn't really cooperate for a picture but this is the best we could do!

We survived
Yesterday Will had his 4 month check up. I was so nervous because he cried for 40 minutes after getting his 2 month shots. He did really well. He didn't even cry after the first shot and he only cried for a few minutes after the second one. I was so glad. I was upset after his first shot
because he cried for so long. Our big boy is now 17 lbs 11 oz and 27 inches long. We did have a touch of fever last night but he slept until 5 am so hopefully he's doing fine. Guess we will see how tonight goes!

A Little Bit of Everything...
It was a crazy weekend around here. Friday, Bill was off work thankfully. We were able to get almost all of our errands done. Saturday my sister, her husband, and her daughter came to visit for the day. We exchanged Christmas presents early. Everyone had a great time. Saturday night we went to a Christmas party. We had a great time. It was really nice to see everyone but we had to leave early. Our little man was an hour past his bedtime and getting a little fussy.
Speaking of our little man, he has gotten back on his regular bedtime schedule!! Thank goodness. We are only getting up once a night so he can eat, usually around 4:30. We aren't quite back to the 5:30-6:30 time frame but we are getting there. His future teeth seem to still be bothering him some but we acquired some Nuby keys that go in the freezer and they seem to be helping a lot. Also, this past week he discovered his feet. Not only discovered them but learned how to put them in his mouth. It is seriously funny. Also, this weekend we had a scare...Mr. Bear (his favorite sleeping companion) had to be washed. I was SERIOUSLY concerned it would not survive the washing machine. He will not go to sleep without this thing. Thankfully, Mr. Bear survived!
Thursday Will goes for his 4 month check up. I am not looking forward to him getting his next round of shots. He cried for so long after the first set. Hopefully, he and I both will survive the second set and he will be just as happy as he is now...

Teething
What has happened to my super happy, sleep through the night baby? He as been replaced with a fussy, drooly baby! That's right Will is definitely teething. I didn't know this would happen so soon. I had gotten used to him sleeping from 8:30-5:30. I miss my sleep! Also, he's nursing so much during the day, I can't get anything done. Is this going to happen with every tooth? How long will it last? I hope it's over soon. Until then, Sophie the Giraffe has become his best friend.
